• Associated Students of New Mexico State University (ASNMSU) Student Senate - Work with a senator to write a bill that proposes coverage of your travel expenses. ASNMSU can reimburse up to 45% of you travel costs.

• College of Arts and Sciences Graduate Student Travel Grant - Up to $500 in support for Graduate and Doctorate student travel.

• Graduate School Funding for Conferences - Support for graduate students attending conferences.

• Honors College International Scholarship - Up to $5,000 in support of a self-designed international travel and/or research experience.

National and International Funding Sources

• Fulbright Student Program - Funding and support for research abroad.

• Indigenous Biocultural Exchange Fund - Financial assistance for an individual to attend global biocultural events/exchanges or meetings of international significance which impacts the applicant's home territory or region.

• NAFSA - A directory of over 30 scholarships, grants, fellowships, and other opportunities to fund student work, internships, volunteering and research abroad.

• National Science Foundation Research Experiences for Undergraduates - Fully funded research opportunities for students.
