Aggies Go Global is committed to connecting students to non-credit seeking international experiences. Start your journey by exploring these organizations and projects! Aggies Go Global is in contact with each of these projects, but they are not projects put forth by NMSU.

  • Academia Latinoamericana offers Spanish classes and a wide range of tailor-made internships and volunteer opportunities in Boliva, Ecuador, and Peru.

  • Belize Bird Rescue offers internships in their avian rehabilitation and rescue center in Belize.

  • Danta Association for Conservation of the Tropics offers field courses in Costa Rica that are intended for undergraduates or early graduate level students who have a keen interest in tropical ecosystems and conservation, but have little or no experience of working in a tropical environment. Participants may enroll on either a credit or non-credit basis.

  • International Volunteer Headquarters (IVHQ) offers a range of volunteer abroad programs, available year-round in 40+ destinations.

  • Irish Education Partners offers internships in Dublin, Ireland for international students.

  • Jewish National Fund has travel options to Israel for both Jewish and non-Jewish students. They offer volunteering, alternative winter breaks, and opportunities such as the "Caravan for Democracy."

  • Kaya Responsible Travel offers sustainable, locally-led, ethical internships and volunteer opportunities in Africa, Latin America, and Asia that deliver a positive impact to local communities and environments and facilitate cultural exchanges.

  • Khulisa Social Solutions is a Cape Town based non-profit organization employing chronic street-people in rehabilitative work opportunities. They offer organized global experiences as VolunTrainees working in one of 10 key areas from Agriculture to Social Work.

  • Learn International offers internships and research opportunities in Ireland and the UK.

  • Mission Activation Charity is developing different projects in the community, including but not limited to, educational programs, small business development, science and technology programs, positive self-image and empowerment programs, health workshops on nutrition, reproductive health, healthy masculinity and others. These projects work with population segments from different social classes, ages, ethnicity and cultures including immigrants, fisher women/men, at-risk youth, children and the elderly.

  • Soles4Souls is a non-profit social enterprise based in Nashville, Tennessee that offers travel for volunteer work and internships that are a blend of service and exploration. They serve those in need by fostering job opportunities and battling the cycle of poverty by providing new shoes and clothing throughout developing nations around the globe.

  • Star Service and Study Abroad offers participants the opportunity to go to Ghana to work alongside a humanitarian organization on their public health, anti-child trafficking, and education campaigns.

  • Therapy Abroad was created to provide a valuable, relevant, and hands-on experience for undergraduate students, graduate students and professional speech-language pathologists who have an interest in international travel.

  • World Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms (WWOOF) is part of a worldwide movement linking visitors with organic farmers and growers to promote cultural and educational experiences based on trust and non-monetary exchange thereby helping to build a sustainable global community. WWOOF is flexible and can be used for internships, educational training, or a travel opportunity.

  • Xperitas transforms lives through shared global experience and intercultural learning. They offer language immersion and work on projects in partnership with Indigenous communities in the Americas, Asia, and Africa.
